About the role

We are looking for a Systems Operations Manager that will drive the following tasks:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of application support specialists, ensuring their professional growth and development.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of all supported software applications, managing incidents, continuous improvement and compliance related activities.
  • Collaborating with IT, development, and business teams to ensure effective communication and alignment towards incident and problem resolutions.
  • Scaling current Operations delivery model together with large offshore providers, building a new delivery model across onshore and offshore teams.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols within the pharma sector.
  • Anchor service development and actively participate in sales of services to either existing or potentially new customers
  • Maintain and drive service training, coordination and updates across onshore, nearshore, and offshore delivery groups. Setting the “golden operations standard” across all non-enterprise customers.

On top, you the next qualifications:

  • Experience managing large-scale IT application operations teams – +5 years.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL principles and practices, incident management, problem management, change management, and IT service management.
  • Good working knowledge of Consulting companies is a plus, particularly in a L1 customer facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and levels.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Experience and knowledge of with Veeva Vault solutions.
  • Hands on Knowledge of workings with pharmaceutical and life science customers, particularly in a GxP compliance situation.
